Project DescriptionChina National Convention and Exhibition Center (NCEC) is a large-scale exhibition complex project jointly decided by Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and Shanghai Municipal People's Government in 2011, with a total investment of about 16 billion Chinese Yuan.
The National Convention and Exhibition Center has a total construction area of 1.47 million square meters.
With an area of 1.27 million square meters above the ground, it is the largest single building and exhibition complex in the world, which integrates exhibitions, conferences, activities, businesses, offices, hotels and other business forms.
The main building is shaped like a four-leaf luckweed with a symmetrical axis. The design embodies many Chinese elements, making it one of the landmark buildings in Shanghai.
